S3DA-Scholastic 3D Archery

S3DA is a youth archery program designed forages 8-18.
19-year-old archers may compete in S3DA competitions if they are enrolled in a Secondary Education System (High School)
It focuses on developing archery skills in a safe and supportive environment.
The program emphasizes competition, teamwork, and personal growth.
Participants learn proper shooting techniques and equipment handling.
S3DA promotes physical fitness and mental discipline through archery.
It includes local, state, and national competitions for skill advancement.
Competitive Youth Archery Team participating in events sanctioned by multiple governing bodies, but predominantly S3DA.

Kenosha Bowmen S3DA Team Basic Info:

Owned equipment is required. Barebow, Recurve, and Compound bows. Archers are divided by classes according to age as of January 1 st of the competition year.
Jr. Eagle: Ages 8 & Under
5-Spot/10 yards & Vegas/20 yards
Eagle: Ages 9-11
5-Spot/10 yards & Vegas/20 yards
Youth: Ages 12-14
5-Spot & Vegas/20 yards
Young Adult: Ages 15-18
5-Spot & Vegas/20 yards


Weekly practices:

Late October through August Mondays 4:30-7 p.m.

Other Expectations:

All Team Families will be expected to volunteer in hosting S3DA Regional Events held at KB and participate in team fundraising.

Tournament Seasons:

Indoor: Early Dec through Late March  
3D: Early April to Mid-June
Outdoor Target: Early May to End of July
WI Regional Tournaments take place throughout WI.
State Tournaments are in Wisconsin.
National Indoor Tournament is in Kentucky.
3D Nationals in Southern IL
Outdoor Nationals in Indiana

Safety is our first focus.
There are no Try-Outs, we accept archers at all skill level 
We focus on excellence in sportsmanship and camaraderie.
We’re a team and we’re a family.
Practices and tournaments are not mandatory.

Kenosha Bowmen S3DA Team Fees:

KB Member Fees:
$75 annual Team Fee for KB Members, with full access to club
Non-Member Fees:
$350 for Non-KB Members, with limited access to club - to be paid in advance
$100 annual Team Fee
$250 practice range fees for non-Kenosha Bowmen Members
Prorated by month from Oct - Aug (10 months at $25 per month)
Additional required fees to compete
$30 annual S3DA Membership Fee
$75 jersey
Tournament entry fees are typically $20-25 per event
1 free week trial practice before registration and payment for a new to S3DA potential shooter

Kenosha Bowmen Membership Info:

All memberships are family memberships
$125 Initiation Fee 
$125 Annual Dues
$25 Wisconsin Bowhunter Association Annual Membership
Dues and Association Fees are pro-rated annually from April 1
20 Work Hours for the benefit of the Club within the fiscal year starting April 1. $50/every service hour not completed.
