The Kenosha Bowmen have an open membership policy.

To become a member you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Fill out the online Membership Application Form. (You may print and mail it in if you prefer)

  • Attend a regular meeting to be voted into membership. (Generally, the first Monday of every month except October & November.)
  • Pay a one-time $125 initiation fee.
  • Pay $125 annual dues.
  • Pay $25 Wisconsin Bowhunters annual membership fee.
The club’s calendar year starts in April. The above amounts apply to families joining and being voted on at the April meeting. For families joining after April, the amounts due are prorated for joining later in the club’s calendar year. The prorated dues and fees are sent via email to the candidate families as soon as their Membership Application Form has been submitted. Applicants submitting their Membership Application Form in October & November will be voted on at the December meeting. There are no club meetings during hunting season.

As a member you have the following privileges:

 

  • 24 access to the grounds and clubhouse.
  • Use of all our ranges and facilities for you and your immediate family.
  • Member discounts at some local shoots and leagues.

As a member you have the following obligations:

 

Pay annual dues on time.

  • Late fees will be applied for memberships not renewed and paid in full by the end of February.

Work at least 20 hours for the benefit of the club per year.

  • The obligation for work hours applies to the family.
    •  For example, if a mother, father, son and daughter each work five hours they will have fulfilled their annual obligation for work hours.
  • The annual work hour obligation must be fulfilled by the end of February. Unfulfilled hours will be charged at $20 per hour for members renewing after March 1.
  • Work hour obligations are prorated for mid-year applicants.
