Add Me To Your Mailing List
The Kenosha Bowmen have an open membership policy.
To become a member you must fulfill the following requirements:
Fill out this on line
Membership Application Form
. (You may print it and mail it in if you prefer.)
Pay a one time $125 Initiation Fee.
Pay $125 annual dues.
Pay $25 Wisconsin Bowhunters annual membership fee.
Attend a regular meeting to be voted into membership. (Generally, the first Monday of every month except October & November.)
The club’s calendar year starts in April, so the above amounts apply to families joining (being voted in) in April. The amounts due are prorated for families joining later in the club’s calendar year. The prorated dues and fees are sent via email to candidate families as soon as their Membership Application Form has been submitted. Applicants submitting their Membership Application Form in October & November will be voted on at the December meeting, since we don’t hold club meetings during hunting season.
As a member you have the following privileges:
Access to the grounds and clubhouse.
Use of all our ranges and facilities for you and your immediate family.
Member discounts at some local shoots and leagues.
As a member you have the following obligations:
Pay annual dues on time. (Late fees will be assessed for those not renewed and paid in full by the end of February.)
Work at least 20 hours for the benefit of the club per year. (Prorated for mid-year applicants, completed by the end of February.)
Our memberships are “Family Memberships”: Parents and children (minors) residing at the same address all enjoy membership privileges and obligations. The obligation for 20 Work Hours applies to the family as a whole. For example, a Mother, Father, Son and Daughter can work five hours each and they will have fulfilled their annual obligation for Work Hours. Work Hour obligations are prorated for mid-year applicants. The annual Work Hour obligation must be fulfilled by the end of February. Remaining unfulfilled hours will be charged at $20 per hour for members renewing after March 1st.
